Constructed in 2003 and significantly renovated in 2014, this residence presents captivating views of Dillon Beach, Tomales Bay, and the Pacific Ocean from its unobstructed bluff. Boasting over 3,200 square feet of living space adorned with impressive woodwork and top-notch finishes, it now showcases 4 master suites, each furnished with a King-size bed and the aforementioned scenic views. Additionally, a library with a Queen-sized wall bed and its own full bath adds flexibility to the sleeping arrangements.

In total, there are 4 King-sized beds, 1 Queen-sized wall bed, a full-sized sofa bed, and a sectional sofa that can be configured into a spacious bed or two smaller beds. The 5.5 baths are unparalleled in the area. Three fireplaces, including two in bedrooms, contribute to the cozy ambiance. The well-appointed kitchen opens to the living and dining area, where walls of windows provide the same breathtaking views.

However, the most alluring feature of this stunning home is its 1000-square-foot, bi-level, slate deck—ideal for enjoying meals, barbecues, the hot tub, sunrises, sunsets, and, of course, stargazing. A generously-sized game room offers Ping-Pong and Foosball tables, making it a perfect retreat for large families or groups.

Our vacation rentals come fully stocked with essential cookware, dinnerware, and consumable supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath, dish hand, and laundry soaps, as well as various trash bags. Luxurious linens are also provided. Additional fees apply to heat pools for homes with them from October through April, while hot tubs, if available, are heated at no extra charge year-round. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.

While this property is an amazing space for family and friends to gather, it is NOT a party house. Please note that outdoor amplified music is prohibited at vacation rentals in the County and campers are not allowed in the driveway. Surveillance cameras and decimal meters are placed to monitor parking areas and noise levels. County quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Groups found in violation of these rules may face eviction, substantial fines, and potential legal action.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time staying at the Dolphin Den in Dillon Beach - this beautiful home was the perfect place for a holiday getaway. Every room was spacious, and well appointed, making it easy for everyone to relax comfortably. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, which made it easy and enjoyable to cook and share meals together. We especially loved the incredible view and how close we were to the beach, which became a daily highlight for our whole group. Overall, an excellent stay and we would happily return!

The Dolphin Den was a beautiful location over looking the water. We were there as a family to remember my brother on what would have been his 60th birthday. His favorite place was tomalas bay which we had a lovely view of at Dolphin Den. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 10 of us. I would definitely book the dolphin den again.

Beautiful home to spend the weekend. Views from the large patio lovely to sit out on and enjoy. We had 9 adults and a 3 month old puppy, plenty of room for all. Kitchen was perfect location and fully stocked with everything needed to cook. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. One regret was the beach was a long walk to get there, down hill and going back was up hill. We like to walk so it was a challenge even for the best of us. The puppy made it both ways!

We had such a great stay at the Dolphin Den. What a perfect home for a big family. Four master suites! Can't get much better than that! The kitchen has everything you need. The game room, with the ping pong table is so great, we had the best time! A mom and baby deer visited us every day. The walk to the cove was exquisite! Thank you !!!

Great stay in a spectacular location

Dolphin Den is exactly what you want for a stay in this beautiful beach setting. The house is super functional and outfitted well for a family or group. It is easy to cook and relax with the spectacular view and a fire. The house has separate rooms all with bathrooms and 1 Murphy bed room in the den which also has a connected separate bathroom. 5.5 bathrooms in total. The hot tub was easy to use and very clean. The area has a private hike to a private beach and a super cute beach side general store and restaurant.

Great views in all the rooms! This place is well made, maintained, and large enough to accommodate our party of 9 adults and 3 kids. There were many accessible bathrooms, so there was never a line to shower or use the bathroom. It's a ten minute drive to Dillion Beach and about thirty minutes to Bodega Bay.

Everything about this home is perfect. It has everything you could need. My husband and I spent a week here with friends and loved waking up to views of Point Reyes, Tomales Bay and Dillon Beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end ovens and an induction stove top. The bedrooms all have incredible views of the ocean. The game room in the garage is an added bonus! The house was perfect for our annual "around Thanksgiving" family get together. The fact that the house has 4 very nice bedrooms (with spectacular views to the ocean), each with its own bathroom, was especially important to us, as was the well equipped and spacious great room (kitchen, dining area and living room).

Our family stayed at this property for 4 nights. I was amazed how well-stocked the home was. The kitchen had every dish, cup, glass, storage container, appliance and gadget one could possibly need. The home was spotless and very well-maintained. The view from the back of the home was breathtaking. The beds were extremely comfortable. Linens were high end, as were the towels. Stunning location, well appointed comfortable home

This is a wonderful home in a tranquil location like no other. Our group had a perfect getaway. The beach is walkable and there is even a private hike to a private beach that is unbeatable. On note is that the 5th bedroom is the Library mentioned. Dillon Beach is a location in Northern California that is not to be missed and this house is great place to stay for enjoying the town. 5starVR is a great rental company and the house was cleaned amazingly well before arrival.

An amazing house with a perfect layout for comfort and space. Each bedroom is amazingly furnished with king size beds and great bathrooms. The huge deck overlooking the ocean is a great treat, especially when sitting in the hot tub. Our family had a great time using this as a refuge from the smoke. Randy was incredibly helpful as the property manager and we would definitely rent again.

Overall the place was excellent. Clean, lots of towels and sheets and pillows. The view of the beach was fantastic. Only issue was with opening the garage and finding the keys to go via the garage door. Otherwise, we had no complaints.

We rented Dolphin Den for a long weekend to celebrate a fiftieth birthday. Nine adults fit comfortably into the expansive house. The house was clean and well cared for with an accommodating kitchen. The great view from the back deck was an obvious attraction. The property manager was very responsive to all questions and helped ensure a pleasant stay for our group.

Family Time

We had a wonderful stay at the Dolphin Den. Plenty of room for all of my kids and grandkids. The view from every room was outstanding. All beds super comfy and well appointed bedrooms. My only complaint was the glass dining table. Not conducive for my little one's it was a little nerve racking fearing they would hurt them selves on the corners. Something more durable might have been a better choice. Did not hamper the wonderful family time we had together. The driveway also is a little precarious. Fortunately we have some expert drivers in our family, well trained professionals who had no problem navigating the steep incline in and out. None of this hampered the wonderful time we had in this magnificent home!

We had a fantastic time at the Dolphin Den! The house is gorgeous, the deck is incredible, and the kitchen is well-stocked. The only downside is that the house really has only 4 bedrooms - the 5th bedroom is more of an alcove within the main downstairs living area. Other than that, I highly recommend.

The Dolphin Den served our three families very well. The house and converted garage meet our needs for all activities and, of course, having the beach within a short drive was wonderful. Because of my husband's limited mobility the master bedroom on the main floor was perfect. Bars in the shower would have made it more accessible for him. We definitely would return to this wonderful home.

This is a lovely place with plenty of room. My complaints are small: The sunlight into the dining area is blinding, making it difficult to enjoy games or meals there during the day. Some sort of shade would be nice. Also, why no stools at the kitchen island overhang? Needed more outside light at night to find the place. And lastly, a towel rack in the kitchen area would be nice. These comments notwithstanding, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Great place for a group! Wasn't really walking distance to beach but the views were spectacular. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. One of the rooms doesn't have a door on the bathroom, so need to be comfortable with that if friends are sharing room. Otherwise, nicely set up. The manager was very helpful and answered all emails in a timely fashion.

Dolphin Den - Perfect Place for a Birthday Getaway

My two brothers, their wives, my husband, my niece, daughter, and parents spent the weekend at the Dolphin Den for my mother's 80th Birthday. We had a fantastic time - the accommodations were great - we all got master bedrooms, and the kids were comfortable in the murphy bed and sofa that converted to a bed. Spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck, which protected us from the wind. The place was stocked well with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

It is all about the View!

Staying in Dophin Den is like staying at a 5 Star resort. The views from every bedroom is magnificent. The beds, pillows, comforters, all are luxurious and comfortable. Bathrooms and showers for every bedroom made it easy to get our group ready for the day, no waiting for the restroom. The open kitchen dining room was our hang out, we could chat and do meal prep all together. We enjoyed sunsets on the beautiful deck that also protects you from wind, but not the view. We didn't want to leave.

Foggy Weekend still Fabulous

Just spent a wonderful long weekend at Dillon Beach! Foggy the whole time, but it allowed the whole family to slow down and hang together. Ping pong and foos ball tournaments were a big hit. Naps in the afternoon and board games in the evening. Kitchen is centrally located so the family gathers there. The 4 bedrooms with their own bath - FANTASTIC! Allowed everyone their own space. Wonder recommend Dolphin Drn to any family with adult children -worked well for us!

Perfect Family Getaway

We enjoyed Dolphin Den so much last year that we returned for a longer stay this year. The views are wonderful. The house is beautiful, well maintained and well designed to accommodate a large family group (we had 9 people). The communal area has lots of space for time together while the bedrooms are great for private relaxation. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Having two bedrooms on the first floor with the communal area was ideal for the seniors with limited mobility in our group. The deck design provided a safe outdoor play space for an active toddler and small dog. We can't wait to go back!

Magical 40th Birthday Getaway

Five families stayed at the Dolphin Den to celebrate several 40th birthdays, and we couldn't have dreamed up a better place to stay. The location was close enough to SF and the East Bay to invite friends over to Dillon Beach for the day, and some of us went to Tomales to get oysters and take day trips to Point Reyes and Heart's Desire in Tomales Bay. The house itself is spectacular. The views are gorgeous. Between the stocked kitchen and gas grill we had almost everything we needed to make over the top elaborate foodie meals. The wood fireplace in the living room was super cozy and the foosball and ping pong tables provided endless entertainment for big and little kids alike. The hot tub was heavenly. Having five bathrooms for give families was really comfortable and we didn't have to worry about septic tank backups. Only things to know that I can think of are that there are no bathtubs to give baths to small children in, and cell phone reception is spotty to nonexistent in the house, which is just true of the entire area. But wifi worked great. We would stay here again and again if we could. and Randy and 5starVR were an absolute pleasure to work with. It was an awesome vacation!

House was well stacked and very comfortable. Very nice bedrooms, comfortable beds, large dining table and gorgeous view. We had a problem though with the hot tub. It was not clean. There was sand on the bottom and scum on top of the water. After one time in the hot tub, I never went in again. That was very unfortunate. Sheila Schneidermann.

We really enjoyed the place, the views, and the kitchen. The hardest thing was the lack of strong internet connection. Even after it was supposed to have been fixed, it still wasn't working. We only have minor feedback otherwise. It would be helpful to have more places to hang towels in the bathrooms, tissue boxes in bathrooms, flat serving plates, more tupperware to store leftovers, teaspoons of different sizes, measuring cups of different sizes, brita filters to replace the one in the pitcher. The brita pitcher was also not quite working (water would dribble out the sides). These weren't a big deal. But having these would just enhance our experience a tad. Thank you for having us. Our family reunion went well and we hope to return in the future.

Memories

I rented this home with my three brothers and various family members. The reason for our trip was to scatter the ashes of our parents and another brother. Our parents loved camping at Lawson's Landing and we spent many summers here. Though this could be viewed as a solemn occasion, it was really quite festive. The large house was perfect. The numerous bedrooms allowed for everyone to have their own space. The young adult children brought air mattresses and slept in the garage. The kitchen was well equipped so cooking meals for a large crowd was easy. We all will have wonderful memories of this trip for years to come!

Great Option for Multiple Families

We stayed at the Dolphin Den June 2016. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The house was nicely furnished and had pretty much everything we needed including games, books, and great speaker to listen to music. A great house house for multiple families! Loved the outdoor seating area and the view is amazing! Thank you for a wonderful, long weekend.
