The Sea Horse boasts four spacious bedrooms with California king-sized beds and four full baths. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite baths, and there are three additional areas that can serve as overflow bedrooms, providing a total of seven sleeping spaces. One unique feature is the beautiful movie theater/media room with a fireplace and a 14' projection wall, offering an IMAX-like experience. The living room and family room also provide additional sleeping options.

The bright and open floor plan features a great room with soaring beamed ceilings, 18' windows, a large living room, a fully stocked chef's kitchen with quarts counters and an island, and a dining room with a table for 12 plus counter seating for 4. The great room opens to a huge deck with breathtaking views of waves crashing onto the California coast. A second family room below has another deck with unobstructed ocean views and a brand-new hot tub just below. The family room can be curtained off to act as a fifth bedroom. All well-appointed bathrooms feature contemporary maple cabinets and stone tile, with two master suites offering spacious showers and a hall bathroom with a large tub.

For electric car owners, we've added a level 2 J1772 ev charger, allowing you to charge your vehicle fully. Bring your own cord and adapter for Teslas and other plug types. With numerous 5-star rave reviews across various platforms, we aim to make your stay the next exceptional experience.

Visit our 5StarVR site for details on personal chefs, caterers, massages, yoga instructors, and personal trainers. Our vacation rentals are fully stocked with essential cookware, dinnerware, and consumable supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath, dish, hand, and laundry soaps, as well as various trash bags. While Sea Horse is an amazing property for family and friends to gather, it is NOT a party house. What can you say about a home like this. Perched on the western most edge of the continent, there's barely a separation between the windows and the expansive view of the Pacific Ocean laid out before you. A very unique architectural style only adds to the drama of the view. The house met all our needs and then some. Well stocked kitchen with lots of room for many chefs to wander about. Spacious bedrooms with views of the coast. And to top it all off a massive home theater to enjoy movies log into the night. Walking distance to beautiful Dillon Beach and centrally located for visits to Tomales and the oyster companies along Tomales Bay.

We recently stayed at Seahorse to celebrate a graduation from the local university, bringing the whole family together in one spot. It is a beautiful place ... yet... it was extremely windy that particular weekend. There wasn't much sitting on the beautiful deck, but the house has multiple levels with lots of inside games to play. The downstairs is equipped with fuzz ball, pac man, and a movie theatre. We never figured out how to play a DVD, but it didn't matter given we became engrossed in card games and fuzz ball competitions. With twelve people, the sleeping options worked out just fine. There is a sofa bed in the living room that turned out to be very comfortable despite the lack of privacy. Happy sleepers! Just know ... although according to the description there are four bedrooms, three with en-suites, only two of the bedrooms have in-bedroom bathrooms. The other two bathrooms are just outside the bedrooms, which would work with fewer guests. For us, it created a little consternation given we had a full twelve of us. Families, you know. Randy and Seth were marvelous during the booking, answering questions along the way, and were very responsive when I had questions about arrival. We will definitely book through 5Star again!

Absolutely excellent house in Dillon Beach. We had a great time. The hot tub was magical at the edge of the home looking out over the ocean. We had a couple of small snags in the experience, but the staff was very helpful in making everything work out for us. Would love to come back!

Mesmerizing views

Rented Sea Horse for a 60th birthday party-extended weekend with our adult children and their spouses. Mesmerizing views and sounds of waves crashing into rocks below from 2 decks, and 2 of the 4 bedrooms. Gorgeous view of the ocean and Dillion Beach from living and dining rooms. Once it got dark, some of us enjoyed sitting on the top deck in chairs with blankets gazing at more stars than we see living in a city while others had a blast watching movies in the theater room. Communication from the property manager made us feel welcome and knowledgeable about Sea Horse and the surrounding area even before we arrived. Based on their recommendation, we hired a caterer, Epicurian Escape of Santa Rosa, for a 7-course birthday meal. That was a next-level experience having a talented chef serve such a beautiful meal in a beautiful setting. We would definitely celebrate another special occasion at this property.

Perfect 80th birthday weekend with family

We spent two nights, 11 adults and one child, celebrating my husband's 80th birthday. Family members flew in from three countries. The house was easy to find, and the driveway accommodated our 7 cars (blocking the 5 in the middle, but it wasn't a problem). We gained easy access to the house and explored using the provided code. The main door led to the kitchen/dining room/ 2 bedroom level and amazing coastal views including the setting sun. Downstairs are two more bedrooms, a den, and a movie-viewing room with 5 luxury recliners. We set up two inflatable queen-sized beds in the generously proportioned movie theater. That room also has an outside door to the driveway, and access to a storage room with an additional fridge/freezer. The kitchen is large enough for several cooks (2 sinks). The only equipment we missed was a second dishwasher: since we cooked breakfasts and dinners for the 12 of us, we ran the dishwasher 2x in the am&pm, plus hand washing. Several area rugs had the corners stand up, creating a tripping hazard. We ended up folding the rugs completely out of the way. The hot tub got good use (we used a bucket with water to rinse the sand off our feet before entering the tub) and everybody slept quite well with extra blankets from the hallway closet. I definitely would book Sea Horse again for a group of up to 10 adults (the older generation that we are, we like our own rooms). The manager, Randy Knight, was exceptionally responsive, helpful, and professional. I recommend his services and his company.

The Dillon Beach Sea Horse was amazing. It is a perfect house for a large family or for friends to gather. The home has it all from a gourmet kitchen with two sinks a great countertops. The kitchen has all the amenities you could ask for. The living spaces are great with many different areas to gather or if you want a lone time to read a book or to just relax. The movie theater was outstanding. A perfect place to park your kiddos after a day at the beach. The reclining chairs and blankets were a perfect touch. There is lots of deck views for ocean viewing and a hot tub for relaxing. This house truly a great find for our large family gathering. A fabulous find. As one crying five year old grandson said, “ I don't want to leave” and the 7 year old grandson said “I want to come celebrate my birthday here”

Beautiful home at the ocean's edge

The house is very spacious was perfect for our 6 adult and one toddler crew. We loved the kitchen amenities! It was so well stocked with all the necessary tools to cook up a storm. The hot tub was perfect to dip into daily and the movie theater was a blast. The only annoyances were the heat being extremely variant depending on where you were in the house, and the plants were over watered, so we had to watch out for that with the little one. Otherwise, a great stay!

Outstanding view outside of the beach as well as inside the home through the large open windows. The movie theater was such a bonus to an already great home. Everything you need is there already. Definitely would recommend this home for your stay, however, would not recommend if you have mobility issues due to the stairs.

We had the best little getaway at this perfect beach house in Dillon beach . The private beach we had access to was above and beyond as was the house . The house was very nice. The kitchen had everything you could imagine and all bedrooms were separate and private, which is nice for a large group. I cannot describe the views as they are so stunning from the back of the house. My only negative comment would be on the hot tub which was very dated. The control panel instructions had been partially etched away by time and weather.

What a beautiful home to celebrate our 50th anniversary! The home is well stocked and very comfortable for a large group. We had an issue with the dishwasher and I called the owner Randy, and he was out the next morning with a dishwasher and plumbers to install the dishwasher. He even went out and washed the windows at the same time! We would recommend this home to everyone. Thanks for the opportunity to use your beautiful home!

The view from this gorgeous abode is absolutely stunning. Once you tear your gaze from the view the house is quite incredible as well. The rooms and beds are top notch. The kitchen is well appointed. Thanksgiving at Sea Horse Cliff House

We had a wonderful family gathering over Thanksgiving week 2021. The house was spacious and accommodated us nicely. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything worked well. We enjoyed the common areas a lot, and the view was spectacular! We all also enjoyed a movie together in the theater room. It's an easy walk to and from the beach. Randy and Sheryl Knight, the owners, were quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, it's a great house.

As soon as you enter the front door and take in the dramatic and beutiful water view that the Sea Horse provides you know you have arrived at a special place. The home offered plenty of parking, was clean and well stocked with all the essentials one could want. The Sea Horse offered exactly the type of relaxing environment we all were looking for. Everyone kept going out to the large decks to be seduced by the sights of the water and sounds of the waves. Cocktails while viewing sunsets were a must as were nightly visits to the hot tub as well as the inhouse movie room with its large screen and theater style reclining seats. We look forward to having another opportunity to visit and would highly recommend the Sea Horse - it was truly a 5 Start experience.

Had my heart set on a place to take my family AND my dog for a relaxing vacation. The criteria was it HAD to be directly on the water where we could enjoy the sound of the waves. This house did NOT disappoint. It truly was everything I could have imagined for a wonderful getaway. Fully stocked chef's kitchen, sweeping views and beautifully furnished. And let me just tell you about the beds! Each of us had our own separate rooms and ALL of the beds were so luxurious. Like sleeping on a cloud. We also enjoyed the movie room which was well stocked with all types of movies. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this home. It meant so much to share it with everyone. And my dog, Bella loved it too! Thank you Randy for being such a gracious host!

Outstanding location to relax and view Sonoma Coast. This roomy open home easily accommodated our family of 7 and 2 dogs. The kitchen is well stocked for all occasions and bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. We cooked most meals (there are two refrigerators) but good restaurants in Bodega Bay, Valley Ford and Tomales are a short drive away. Oceanside is all glass and decks are huge with great railings to contain small children and dogs while drinking in those VIEWS. The hot tub, media room and available games, books and DVDs provide ample entertainment. Water pressure wasn't great and instruction manual needs updating; regardless, this was a wonderful vacation home.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely home overlooking the ocean. The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed a fabulous family Thanksgiving here. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable! The layout of the house was very spacious and the bedrooms roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We wished there would have been propane available, so if you plan to grill make sure you stop and get some! Other than that we had everything we needed to enjoy a week with family! Our trip was extra special because our son proposed to his girlfriend at the bluffs and she said yes!

Sea Horse House revisited

We had a bet going that our daughter Lauren would break out in tears when she walked through the front door. She did. As a family we have been coming to this house in Dillon Beach since my brother bought it. After many projects, improvements, additions and renovations it was our cherished family vacation destination vacation for many years. Coming back for the first time in many years was a joyous occasion. Driving down from Seattle like we had in the past now included bringing all the food my brother used to supply. Being that everyone in our family is an excellent cook, including our newest spousal additions, the beach house is still prepared for us in the kitchen with an abundance of tools and supplies. We made use of many of them cooking excellent meals every day. Our two dogs loved the daily walks and romps on the beach. We were lucky to have a week of sun after leaving one of the wettest Northwest winters in years so those walks were appreciated by all of us. The Sea Horse Beach House is still a wonderful place in a beautiful part of the country. We loved every minute of it.

Birthday getaway

The unobstructed view of the ocean was incredible. The upstairs is both cozy and spacious at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Really couldn't ask for more. It was too windy to try out the hot tub or spend much time on the deck but we made great use of the fireplace and the wonderful conversation area. Also, I love how much light the upstairs has and the great view (did I mention the view?). It would be lovely to spend more than a weekend here. It was the perfect birthday getaway!

we loved this house. excellently maintained. a gourmet kitchen. We loved the layout cause we could sit comfortably with our friends as they made dinner. They have every dish, pot and appliance and the entertainment room has so many devices it was mind boggling. you can live in this place without out changing your routines. plus the location was the best. only thing we had trouble with was balancing the heat between upstairs and downstairs and different body types. we loved this property.

We loved the Sea Horse House. It had amazing views, great space and amenities. Unfortunately there were maintenance problems at the house. The top shelf of the dishwasher was broken so we removed it, the hot tub was murkey, the fridge door latch broken, one of burners on stove broken and the picturesque chairs near the cliff in photos where not usuable..looked like they would fall over it touched...These problems are easily fixed and if so I would change my rating to excellent!!!

This place was large and suited our group of 6 adults and 4 children very well. Large dining room table set for 10. The movie room was great. 3 of the kids actually stayed down on air mattresses and sleeping bags. Location over looking the ocean was great.

Most Memorable MIlestone BD, thx to this house

My family and several close friends had THE BEST 3-night weekend at Seahorse! Thank you for providing the perfect home for a large group to come together and celebrate my milestone BD in a magical place. The views were incredible, from just about anywhere you stood in the house. With this end of Winter/beg of Spring weather, we experienced all 4 seasons in 3.5 days! It was fantastic. Everyone loved the house, very comfortable beds and so well equipped. We had everything we could've wanted and more. The theater was a huge bonus for those sports fans. The hot tub was perfect for soaking in while watching the storms scoot across the ocean. The location was perfect, right on the bluff and not far from a few different paths to the beach. Even the paved road wasn't too far to walk to the beach and the adorable new General Store and Coastal Kitchen cafe. Randy was so responsive and accommodating with all my questions leading up to our rental period. It really helped us prepare. All in all, it was truly one of the best weekends of my life with friends, family altogether in a beautiful home in a magical place. Dillon Beach is now our new fave local destination!

We had a very comfortable stay at Sea Horse. The house has a gorgeous view. The kitchen is well appointed, beds and linens are luxurious and comfortable. We had a wonderful time, even though we had severe wind and rain. We wanted to go to the beach, but it was high tide and too dangerous. But our entire family had a great time. The theatre room came in handy for watching basketball games and napping!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sea Horse in Dillon Beach. What a gem. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. The views are amazing. The theater room is awesome. There were deer around the home each morning. Some of the places we visited during our stay include Point Reyes Vineyards, Heidrun Meadery, Cowgirl Creamery at Tomales Bay Foods for yummy cheese, The Marshall Store for oysters, Nick's Cove, Tomales Deli and Cafe for breakfast sandwiches to go, and Tomales Bakery. Hope to return someday for a longer stay.

Beach House

This is a great beach house. Plenty of room so you never feel crowded. Love that the kitchen is fully stocked. My only suggestion would be bring back the bean bag chairs in the movie theater. Not quite enough seating. Would stay here again.

Amazing Views

You will not regret staying in this home. This home is well equipped with all the things you will need - and more. The kids never left the theater -except to go in the hot tub! Beds were comfortable. And I must say, Thank you!, for having all the beds be a king. It is easy (and cheaper) to put in a queen, but a king in each room shows the owner's know how to take care of people. Thank you.

Stayed at Sea Horse for 3 nights in August and though we never saw the sun we still had a wonderful time. There were a couple minor problems but, all in all, a fabulous house. Some of the complaints were due to the "construction and layout" of the house and not with the location or interior compliments of the property.

Our family of 10 stayed at this beautiful ocean front home. The fact that it had 4 bedrooms all with king beds was key and 4 bathrooms. The theatre was an added bonus. It was so fun to go downstairs and see the kids all in their recliners, 3D glasses on, all covered watching a movie. The house was beautiful, fully stocked with everything you could want. It was a very relaxing time. Located close to Bodega Bay and Tomales. We hope to be able to enjoy this home again. Thank you!

Sea Horse - Dillon Beach

This is the second time I've stayed in this house and it is a gem. It's a wonderful house in a magical location with plenty of space for friends and/or family to spread out. There are just a few small suggestions I have: adding a small vanity or cabinet to the bathroom behind the laundry room, fixing the loose knobs on the stove, fixing upper blind in upstairs bedroom suite so that it blocks out light in the morning, making sure that some of the cupboards in the kitchen close more securely, adding black-out curtains to bottom floor bedrooms (in the bottom-floor bedroom suite, you can see the television through the neighbor's windows shining through - it's especially bright at night) and it's too bright down in both bedrooms if you want to sleep in). The positive aspects of this house far outweigh these smaller issues. My family and I had a wonderful and peaceful time.

Amazing Family Vacation

This house is a great place to get away with family or friends and enjoy a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. Sitting on a bluff directly above the ocean, it is just a short walk to the beach. The house has everything that you need and is so spacious that multiple activities can be going on at one time without impacting the other. It was really nice for each bedroom to have access to individual bathrooms. Everyone wants to return! Thank you for providing the environment for a wonderful family vacation.

Beautiful OceanFront House

We had a lovely Christmas with our family in the Sea Horse house on Dillon Beach. The house easily accomadated 4 families. We used our own child-sized air mattresses to put little ones to bed in the same room with their parents. Very nice having a private bathroom for each family. The back room behind the laundry room was very quiet. With a noise fan, we couldn't hear the little ones who woke up early. The entry level has a great floorplan for entertaining. Those in the kitchen were not separated from the others. Downstairs was great for putting little ones down for naps. The views & deck were phenomenal! Peaceful, beautiful home.

House was amazing and the view stunning! The kitchen was well equipped, as were the bedrooms-plenty of linens, pillows and towels. Inside laundry a huge benefit. Movie Room amazing! I would recommend instructions to work the TV'S in the bedroom for those of us who are older and electronically challenged. It would have also helped to know about the propane for the BBQ. We will be back!

Plenty of room for everyone, and stunning views! a few glitches during our stay were promptly attended to by the owners, which we appreciated. Our kids had a great movie afternoon!! The site itself is not ideal for little ones due to the cliff and drop-off (which of course is what gives the great view). It is only a short walk to the path by Kailua 5 which offers foot access too the end of the public beach.

Excellent house! Clean, beds were the most comfortable beds we've ever had! Theatre room was used every day and night. The beach was fun. Weather PERFECT! So happy with this home!!

The Sea Horse was everything we could have hoped for. Our family of 12 had a wonderful time at this amazing home. The house is set up with accommodating group spaces yet each bedroom is separated and private. The home is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well-equipped. The views are breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed the the private beach.

My group of ten had an excellent time at the See Horse house. There was tons of space and the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked in terms of cooking gadgets. Other than repairing the living room fireplace, the house couldn't be better.

We had an amazing family get away at the Seahorse house, the experience could not have been better. We basically had no issues, only thing I would suggest is leave info in the house book about where to find the second circuit breaker. The house was absolutely beautiful, had every amenity, and all adults and kids had a blast!

This house really was perfect! I didn't know what to expect from Dillon itself, but we were very pleasantly surprised. It really felt like Ireland. We had beautiful weather and the the ocean was just beautiful. We had 12 guests and the kitchen was perfect for entertaining. Lots of platters and bowls and fun ways to present the food. The views were stunning and it had a cozy fire that you can have going while watching the ocean. The spa was awesome and we sat in there early morning while watching the fog clear. Overall I was very impressed. Thank you for such a wonderful 40th birthday celebration for my husband!

The house was perfect for our women's reunion. It was completely equipped and very organized. The decor was updated and upscale. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. We would rent this house again.

Amazing house with amazing view

My wife and I stay in vacation homes along the coast often, and this is one of the best we have stayed in. Very spacious, lots of parking, great decks, amazing views from both inside and out, and very easy beach access. The theater room was my personal favorite, complete with reclining theater chairs, giant projection screen, 3D glasses, and a pullout bed. We also enjoyed the whole house Sonos sound system. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary dishes, pots, pans, etc (but be sure to bring your own spices and oil). The staff was very easy to work with and accommodating as well. Not only do I recommend this house for a getaway with your friends or family, but I will surely be looking to stay here again with mine.

I took my sons and family to the Sea Horse Beach House. The house is so nice, large, and very nicely furnished. We enjoyed the private beach, the fantastic media room. This is an exceptionally comfortable, well-stocked home with a million dollar view. The hike down the cliff to beach was OK for middle aged members of our party, but a little challenging for the 60-year-olds. We highly recommend this property!

The Sea Horse Beach House was perfect for our group! The views are beyond expectation, the secluded (felt like private) beach is just a short hike from the house and the location was excellent. We will definitely be booking it in the future.
