The Sea Turtle is a very clean well built single level home from 5StarVR with a large open living space and great views of the beach, ocean and Bodega Bay. The home was renovated in 2021 to add another bathroom for a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths with 2 of the bedrooms with full baths en-suite. There are new hardwood floors and fresh paint throughout including kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The master bathroom is spa like with a double steam shower and double size whirlpool tub. A lot of new furniture is also in place so you won't find any old hand me downs from home. There are also 2 washers and 2 dryers to get your laundry done faster.
The views are wonderful, and this property offers an up close experience with wildlife a few feet from the deck as the space between houses is a favorite path for deer, wild turkey and quail.

Our family of three generations spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Sea Turtle in Dillon Beach. The house was spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. The views were amazing! It was very nice to have king-sized beds in all the bedrooms. The mattresses and linens were high quality and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and we cooked most meals there. We enjoyed afternoons at the beach. The management company was easy to communicate with and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. We would definitely return!

Sea Turtle met our needs perfectly! With four bedrooms with comfortable king beds, our group of three couples and one single were all happy. The views are beautiful, and the kitchen is well-equipped, important for us since we prepared all our meals and dined in except for lunches. The location is ideal for excursions. We went for a long walk on Dillon Beach, hiked in Bodega Bay and the Armstrong Redwoods. The house is clean and well maintained, and the property management is top notch, responding quickly to questions. When an item was left behind, I was quickly notified and arrangements were made to send it to me. I wouldn't hesitate again to rent this property or others managed by 5StarVR!

Four couples shared this lovely home together for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. Features were as described, kitchen was well-appointed, home had been recently updated. There were a few minor things shared with 5Star and they were being taken care of. A quick drive down to the beach ($10 entry). Would stay here again. 😘

Very clean, comfortable home with lots of room to relax with incredible views from our location high on the hill above the ocean and the entrance to Tomales Bay. The kitchen was very well equipped including a variety of spices, some condiments, and coffee. Our party of 5 adults enjoyed our short visit.

This place is a true gem! With four bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and living room area, and a large deck with a scenic view, we enjoyed a lot of quality time in the home. The appliances and decor are new and in great condition; the space was clean and light-filled. Dillon Beach is a short walk away, in addition to great hiking and dining. Host was responsive and friendly. I give Sea Turtle my highest recommendation!

This was our first time away from home after the stress-filled pandemic year. At first we were a bit weary of going to a rental house for a long weekend, but once we walked through the front door all our worries melted away. This is a beautiful 4 bedroom house perched on top of the hill with sweeping views of Tomales Bay and Pt Reyes headland. The house has open living space, a huge deck and a well furnished kitchen. If you're looking for a lot of activity and a lively nightlife, this won't be the place for you, but if you're looking for a place to unwind and get away from the city chaos you're going to love it here.

My friends and I loved staying at the Sea Turtle! Beautiful ocean views, beautiful deck to enjoy the view and eat al fresco, hot tub, and fully stocked kitchen with all the equipment needed. Several of us were working remotely and had absolutely no issues with the wifi. You can tell that this is someone's vacation home that they take great care in maintaining. Pictures on the web do not this place justice. Recently renovated, the interior is like new in most aspects. Great views of Tomales Bay, the ocean, and the mountains. Deer and rabbits frequent the yard. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and more glassware then you would need. Full laundry so we came home with clean clothes. Will not hesitate to rent again.

The house slept 8 very comfortably. We were able to manage some nice meals in the kitchen though stove, oven, and microwave were on the old side. We loved gathering at the big table for meals and celebration and overall enjoyed the views though the house next door obstructs a fair chunk of the ocean view. We enjoyed the hot tub though it was located in the secluded FRONT fenced area. Dillon beach is just a beautiful and relaxing place to vacation. The house worked out well for our family getaway.

This home had everything we needed for a great weekend. The kitchen was well equipped and had multiple sets of glasses and dishes. Cooking was enjoyable in the large space. Beds were very comfortable and space throughout the home well optimized. The location was easy to find and the views did not disappoint. We loved the house. We did have the pilot light on the water heater go out, some issues with the chimney flue and outlets in the master bathroom didn't work. We were able to resolve the issues in ways that worked for us. Randy Knight was responsive when we needed help.

My group and I had a fantastic time. The house was in perfect shape, all appliances and furniture are well kept and up-to-date. We had a question on check out protocol and they got back to us within 10 min (over a holiday weekend!). The views are incredible and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Definitely would recommend this to anyone, and this hopefully won't be our last time.

Well stocked home with lovely views, comfortable beds and nice hot tub and steam shower. Lots of seasonings in the kitchen in spite of being told there was only salt and pepper. Great for 4 couples.
Responsive management to a few glitches upon arrival which were quickly resolved.
The garage was only able to accommodate 1 car and street parking is not allowed. Nice fenced patio and front area for dogs.
Would definitely rent again.

This house was rented for a Girl's Weeknd that had 7 woman in it all with discerning tastes. We have rented houses together for 30 years. The comment was made more than once...this is the nicest house we have ever stayed in. the house was very clean & uncluttered. Everything was top quality, from the bedding to the towels to the very outfitted kitchen. The views from the house were fantastic and we were constantly entertained by a group of young deer. We had a great time and would return in a heartbeat.

We loved this home. The furnishing and tasteful decorations really made the house a wonderful place to stay. The kitchen was full of all serving and cooking equipment we needed, as were the bathrooms. The water did have a strange smell and taste though. We wished that the refrigerator door water dispenser was working so we could have had filtered water. Perhaps leave a Brita in the fridge? We ended up buying bottled water from the General Store in town. Otherwise, just a lovely stay!

The Leatherback is an amazing beach house! We will stay again and again. The first moment we stepped inside we knew this would be the one and only beach rental for us! Party of 10! The views are everywhere in this house, so stunning. The furniture very comfortable, loved all the decor with it's lovely beach theme. Nice throws and pillows! Fell in love with the dinning room table which could seat more than 12 people! The kitchen was well appointed, loved the dishes, pots and pans and lots of great baskets! Oh and the wine glasses were the best to toast this great long weekend. There were king sized beds in each room which were all so comfortable we all had fluffy sheets and duvets which were so soft and warm. We all loved having a flat screen TV in each room!! Having free WIFI was a win win situation! There was a large flat screen in the family room too! The master bedroom had the amazing steam shower!!! Wow what a retreat! We all used the hot tub it was steaming hot upon arrival! Loved how the front yard was fenced in which was great for our little dog. There is plenty of parking, we parked one car in the garage and 3 in the driveway! This beach house is fabulous, you will not be disappointed the owners did an amazing job renovating this stunning home! All our guests didn't fight over any bedrooms because they were all well appointed. Your stay at the Leatherack will be all you need for a quiet, peaceful, joyous family get-together. We will definitely be back, thank you owners for such a great house!

My family of 7 stayed in this beautiful home. When we arrived, which was late in the evening we opened the front door turned on the lights and we were greeted with an exquisite home. This home sits on a bluff with views of the ocean. These views are visible only when it is not foggy, which was most of the evenings of our stay. In the mornings the deer came so close to the deck we could almost feed them by hand. The kitchen was clean and has all requirements needed to make simple to extravagant meals. The kitchen table seats many and is beautifully handmade. It was nice to gather our teenagers together and play cards and board games. Something we haven't been able to do for many years. There is Wifi available but signal strength was not great, which I was perfectly fine with. The 2 bathrooms were clean and if you forget your shampoo or conditioner this is provided. It would have been nice to have one more bathroom but it really is not a necessity.The bedrooms were great size and the beds and bedding were so comfortable, none of us wanted to leave. In fact, my husband and I were trying to figure out the brand name of the mattress in the master so we could purchase one for our bed at home. The washer and dryers were high efficiency and were nice for a large family.
The hot tub was amazing especially after a long day walking in San Franciso or hiking in the Muir Woods. The house is a good hike from the ocean, going down was fine but coming back up was definitely more for the more athletic individuals. The house is a good hour from San Franciso and I would definitely recommend travelling to San Francisco during the week and skip it on the weekends.If you take the scenic highway to San Francisco count on at least 2 hours but AMAZING views. All in all this house is amazing, relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and I would love to stay there again.

The views of sunsets, wildlife and scenery were spectacular. Never got to use the spa, so we'll have to come back when there is more time to relax! Excellent experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Leatherback on Dillon Beach. The place is beautiful. The online pictures do not do it justice. The house is newly and tastefully decorated. All the appliances are high-end and in excellent working condition. The beds and pillows are comfortable. We could have used an iron and ironing board. Also, the lawn needed mowing and there were a few weeds in the courtyard near hot tub and front entrance.

The beds were very comfortable - literally we were checking the tags on the bedding to see what brand it was so we could recreate at home. The steam shower in the master bath was a nice surprise. We loved the large hot tub. One of the wood fence boards fell down (hiding the propane tank) during the windy day on Friday, we propped it up next to the outer fence. The kitchen was well appointed, though I would recommend more flatware. There were plenty of dishes and glassware for a large group, but we didn't have enough flatware for more than one meal so ended up running the dishwasher a lot. The microwave and oven are very outdated, would have expected those to be newer. Though they worked fine, I would add a caution sign to the oven that it runs hotter than the temp indicated. All in all, this was a lovely home and perfect for our group. We enjoyed the surrounding area and the quietness of Dillon Beach.
Mother's Day Weekend with the family

We loved the house and our stay in Dillon Beach. The view is lovely, the furnishings are very stylish, the kitchen is stocked very well, and the bed linens are very nice and comfy. The communication with the management was great and the check-in and check-out super easy.
If there is a way the owners could extend an owner's parking pass for the beach that would be great. That did not feel very renter friendly or convenient to pay $8 per to touch the sand. Maybe some tips on how to more easily access the water's edge would be appreciated.
Overall - excellent stay and we would rent again.
