We took our son, daughter and son-in-law, our two grandsons and my sister on a 4 day getaway (along with our pups) and had a great time. The home is lovely, very well stocked and has a beautiful view. We enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong, table shuffleboard and preparing meals in the well equipped kitchen. The Dolphin beach house, at Bodega Bay, is a beautiful single level home with open floor plan, huge master bedroom, spacious guest bedrooms, walk in showers, and perfect for anyone with mobility issues. My wife has mobility issues. I looked for a home which is ADA compliant. This is the perfect home. I enjoyed getting up in the morning, pouring a cup of coffee, sitting in the family room looking out the big windows facing the ocean, seeing the reflection of a fire burning in the fireplace, watching deer graze, quail running around and the occasional Jack rabbit. Weather permitting, my second love was sitting on the deck basking in the sun and breathing fresh costal air. The home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. I thank those who own the home for offering it to others to experience the Bodega Bay life. Would definitely love to rent again.

This home is perfect for a family reunion, the bedrooms are an ample size and the hallway is wide for an open feel. The front of the home has an enclosed courtyard with bench seating hot tub and gas fire place. The back porch is also enclosed with glass for panoramic views of the ocean and wildlife in the evening. We put out unsalted peanuts for the critters and the children were thrilled to see the results. We saw deer, small to large rabbits and a skunk along with a multitude of birds. The home is lovely with large gathering areas and a huge dinning table that seats 10. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking with plenty of room and a view of the ocean. There are game in the garage the kept the adults and older children busy. Amazing stay, we plan to book it again.

This is our favorite vacation house in Bodega Bay, and we've stayed in several. It is very comfortable and the back deck is fantastic. It is well-equipped with everything you might need - plenty of dishes, silverware, cookware, etc. The ping pong and shuffleboard in the garage is a big hit. While you're there it feels like home!

We only had two nights at the Dolphin Beach House, but it was so beautiful and comfortable and fun that it gave us a wonderful jump start to the holiday season. We prepared delicious meals in the well-equipped and stocked kitchen and barbeque. The shuffleboard and ping pong table sparked laughter and good-humored competition across the generations. This was my first time renting a house for vacation and it was a fantastic experience. The Dolphin Beach House had all we needed for four adults, two toddlers and a dog in beautiful Bodega Bay during COVID. The house is located in a very private development, among beautiful hills with walking trails and a view of the beach from all the west facing rooms. Although we chose not to hike the trail down to the closest beach due to little kids, Doran Beach is less than five minutes drive away and is perfect for sand play, kite flying, beach combing and just relaxing. A few minutes past the harbor is Bodega Head with spectacular views of the Northern California coast. Best of all was simply sitting with the family in the plexiglass protected deck of the house, looking out at the ocean. We did not see any other house in the development that had such an amenity. The only small issue for our group was the tiny fourth bedroom that was right off the kitchen where the baby slept. To keep her asleep, we basically closed the kitchen up by 7. We would definitely stay here again.

Dolphin Beach House had more than we expected! The location is in a development with two intermediate walking trails down to the beaches nearby - one starting right in front of the house. The homes are spaced apart and ours was opposite an open field where we saw wild turkeys and tame cows. It's a quick car trip into town and right around the corner from Doran Beach, a beautiful expanse of white beach with a jetty where people were catching crab. The perfect place to sit in a beach chair and ponder life - or read a book - or stare at the ocean.
The accommodations are excellent - lots of room to spread out and enjoy the vistas. A protected patio features lots of comfortable seating. And the hot tub is not to be missed! Modern and clean and the best way to recover from the above-mentioned hikes.
Overall, one of the best homes we've rented!

We had a great family reunion at the Dolphin Beach House. The house was perfect and very comfortable. We spent time walking on the beach, playing games, watching the Olympics and hanging out. The ping pong table, shuffle board and hot tub were a bonus. Lots of wildlife with deer, birds, seals, and rabbits. Great tidepools at low tide and fresh seafood in town. One of the nice things about the house is that it is at the quiet end of the development and you can walk down to a private beach out the back door. Great house for a family and we will be back ! This was our second visit and we loved it as much as the first one. The Dolphin Beach House is probably the best equipped home we have ever rented with comfortable beds and a kitchen that includes every imaginable utensil. The garage game room.... something for everyone! And being up in the hills, the ocean view from the enclosed deck is lovely even through the wind and fog - not to forget the enclosed front yard with spa. So relaxing.
Our thanks to Randy and the management team! Questions were always answered quickly, loved the simple entry and exit, and we were made to feel quite welcome.

I’m talking a stocked kitchen with big pots (we love to cook) and even a waffle maker. We brought our own not thinking they would have all that stuff. Love the blankets around the house to keep us cozy, the way everything was labeled, and how freaking clean it was (family a bunch of neat freaks). Everyone gave me kudos for booking such an amazing place. Now dolphin house is the standard for wherever we go lol. Oh and the hot tub was just what the doctored ordered. Dolphin Beach House was beyond expectation. I've rented homes in Bodega Bay for decades and DBH is among the best. We celebrated my daughter's 19th birthday and the home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and then some. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. The home was clean and perfect for 5 adults, 2 small children and our 2 dogs. Both front patio and back deck areas are entirely enclosed allowing free run for kids and dogs safely. Directly across the street from path down to beach (20 minute walk) in a very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets (and barking sea lions) enjoyed every day. The ocean view from kitchen through back deck was best feature. Due to Covid we brought in most of our meals to cook (including classic turkey dinner); kitchen and dining fully equipped for that use. Beds were comfortable and walk-in showers appreciated by elderly guest. There are little notes around to explain some things like entertainment systems but more information about location and use of appliances as well as a list of kitchen appliances would have been helpful. I highly recommend this home.

Dolphin Beach House is a very nice house located near Bodega Bay Links golf course. A small group of us stayed a couple of nights to play golf at the Links. House was well furnished and supplied. Everything was lovely and my mother's 90th birthday was awesome. We loved the fact that the deck was enclosed which effectively added another communal area during the day. My only observation is that the 4th bedroom, which has no closet, is right off the kitchen and adjacent to the garage suggesting that it was not originally designed as a bedroom. The rental agents were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. I would definitely rent from them again.

This home sits on a gorgeous lot providing a sense of community and privacy. Everything in the home is well appointed and well cared for. We used every space (sheltered deck, wonderful kitchen, large dining room table, living room with fireplace and the hot tub) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were a group of 8 (sometimes 9) and the home easily accommodated us. Two very minor suggestions - the kitchen could benefit from additional mixing and serving bowls (these were oddly missing from an otherwise very well stocked kitchen) and the description indicates a fourth bedroom with a full size bed. It would be helpful to know that this bedroom is immediately off the kitchen and that the bed is actually a day bed with a trundle that pulls out and two (non-traditional) foam mattresses that make up the "full size" bed listed (suitable for kids/teenagers but I would not put adults in this room because of comfort and location). Wonderful home filled with light and a very spacious feel to it!

This house is as roomy and comfortable as they come. Very user-friendly for our group of 6 to cook, play games, and hang out. Great amenities such as a BBQ on a gorgeous deck, ping pong table and shuffle board in the garage, fireplace, and extra long dining table. Comfy beds with soft sheets and great pillows. We ate one breakfast at the clubhouse Bistro and it was good. Sunset views every night, walking distance to the beach, and dog-friendly —yay! Nice neighbors, too. Bring a kite to fly on the beach or in the field across the street. We loved the location of this house in the development. Very private, quiet, and didn't feel like it was on/near a golf course. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

We were all very happy with our time spent in the Dolphin Beach House. We range in age from 17 to 72 and all had fun with the shuffleboard and ping pong tables. The kitchen was the most well equipped of the many houses we have rented in Bodega Bay Harbour. We truly enjoyed the back deck and hot tub. We couldn't get the fire pit to work, but it was cold at night,and we mainly stayed inside so it didn't matter that much to us. I thought the number of bathrooms with showers might be an issue, but no one seemed to have any problems. Though we didn't need to use the ramps, the fact that the house is wheelchair accessible is quite nice. We hope to visit this house again as it is one that we all enjoyed.

I was very surprised to be charged $160 by HomeAway for viewing this house property on the HomeAway site when I rented it from the VRBO site. This is double dipping from the same company. I spoke to the VRBO site manager and he said this is the way they are doing it. There was nothing on the sites to tell you this. Totally unbelievable that they are getting away with this. I was very disappointed in this process and will be telling other people to not rent from either site.

Dolphin Beach House was a great fit for our family. Two separate outside spaces and two sitting areas with TV's gave everyone a place to relax and enjoy. We loved the enclosed deck with BBQ and outstanding views.Lots of outdoor furniture to accommodate all of us and the glass protected us from the wind. The back patio with the hot tub was private and very relaxing.
Loved the large dining room table for our meals together.The bonus was the ping pong table and shuffleboard in the garage.

The Dolphin Beach House is a very spacious, well-laid home with just enough furnishing and decor to make it feel warm and comfortable. The hot tub is heavenly despite the cool temps, especially when the wind arises. The kitchen was unbelievably well equipped. The amenities for handicap usage where a god-send for our 96 year-old mom (soon to be 97 on Jan 1) and we really appreciated having them. There was enough "space" to have privacy and yet get together frequently. Don't miss getting freshly-caught crab!! Loved this place and talked about returning next year! Thanks!

We enjoyed the whole house. The layout was very comfortable for our group. We really enjoyed the hot tub. It was very clean! The master bedroom and bath was awesome. Loved the enclosed outdoor areas. And too advantage of the pool table and shuffle board table. We will definitely be back.

This property is very nice and has a great view. It is decorated very tastefully and is very well equipped. We loved how well the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils. It says it sleeps 10, but the small bedroom with a day bed was not that good for adults. It would be great for kids though. We would definitely go back.

This home is lovely and we particularly enjoyed the 2 protected decks to spend time on. Bodega Bay can be windy and the protection made it nice to stay out much longer than if we did not have the wind break. Bright home with lots on amenities. We stayed here about 5 years ago and the home has since sold and been updated, very nicely! Don't hesitate to stay here!

We rented this house to celebrate my father's 90th birthday with our immediate family. It was perfect for our needs. We were able to seat our group of 10 at the dinner table and there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. Dad DID NOT want to leave the back deck with an ocean view! We hope to return in the future. Thank you!

Our family group of nine really enjoyed our stay at the DBH. It was a great location for beach activities in a quiet neighborhood. The house was extremely clean with a well stocked kitchen that allowed for many cooks to work at once. The deck was a wonderful place to hang out even during cold weather. We played games by the fireplace every night. Randy was very responsive when we had a couple of issues with the trash and a broken light bulb. A couple other things you might want to know about: The pressure in the gas line to the BBQ grill is inadequate for the burners, the night light in the end-of-hall queen bedroom flickers, and the hot tub needs to have more sanitizing chemicals (it was a little funky). Also it would be nice to have some firewood or duraflame logs provided for the fireplace. These were small issues that did not detract from our enjoyment of the house. We would definitely stay there again!

Dolphin Beach House was exactly as advertised - nicely appointed, well maintained, and a fabulous location. Accomodations were comfortable. My one piece of advice would be to provide instruction for the collection of remotes for the TV systems. Maybe we could have played CD's on the DVD, but we not successful in using the system for tunes. WE did successfully stream a movie one night, which was a nice bonus.

The stay at Dolphin House was too short. The house was very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Had some problems with TV but could have been the weather because we had rain during our short stay. Thanks for letting us stay in such a nice home that made us feel like we were home. The Lynn's

This home was perfect for us. We had two twin girls and there was not any place we were worried about for them. No stairs, or breakable glass stuff.
Their mother said it was her best vacation ever because of the house. I would have liked a TV in the master bedroom. With big groups one working TV is hard.But we loved our stay and would definitely love to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Beach House. The home was beautifully decorated, the upscale kitchen had everything we needed, and the bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable. We chose this house for a family get-together because of it's large size and handicap accessibility which worked out very well for my elderly father in a wheelchair and two other family members who can't use stairs. The glass enclosed deck was fantastic for the cool mornings/evenings and protected us from gusting beach winds. The trail to the beach was nearly across the street which was great for taking our kids to the tide pools at low tide (but do take note the half mile trail is very steep with lost of stairs so we could not take our mobility limited family to the beach here). The house was undergoing some upgrades so there were a few spots that were unfinished (missing door jam, switch in the wrong place) but those where very minor and didn't detract from the overall experience. The only issue we did have was when the kitchen drain sprang a significant leak (unfortunately in the evening) but the property manager had a plumber there first thing in the morning. I highly recommend Dolphin Beach House and would happily stay here again.

This house was beautiful. It was perfect for our family vacation. We had such a great time. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils, it was clean, bright and a very close walk to the beach. My only suggestion would be, there was only 1 working television. The one in the living room, it would have been great if the one in the family room worked so the little ones could have watched movies to unwind before bed. But overall, we loved it and would go back again. Thank you!

The Dolphin Beach House was beautiful! We are a family of 6 with 2 dogs and we felt so comfortable here. We definitely would love to come back and stay here. Great House!!!
