We had a wonderful time and visit to Bodega Bay! The property has spectacular views of the ocean, hills and sunsets! We watched whales spouting all week long and it was magnificent. The walk to the beach was easy! We loved the layout of the home and every amenity at our fingertips! A bit frustrated with the tv system for a bit but finally figured it out! Communication with property management was quick, thorough and extremely helpful! The house was immaculately clean!

Very nice large house, the eight of us had plenty of room. The view of the ocean and the rolling hills to the south was great. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of pots and pans and dishes and glasses. The owners had left a good supply of puzzles and games, so one evening was enjoyably spent with all of us working on a jigsaw puzzle. The house is about a ten minute drive from grocery stores, so it was easy to provision ourselves.

We all had a perfect ladies weekend. The layout of the house fit us perfectly. We loved the long kitchen table for meals and playing games. The view can't be beat! The kitchen is very well equipped. We had everything we needed for a fabulous friends weekend!

Beautifully sited with views of the rolling hills leading to the Pacific -- we loved sitting on a side balcony watching the moon shine on the sea below. The house was pristine, the kitchen and dining room table perfect for group meals. The only complaint -- and it's a tiny one -- is that the skylights let in a dazzling amount of sunshine and it gets hot fast. Fortunately, the windows let in ocean breezes. Definitely a great house for two families to share.

Room with a view

The Point View home was exactly as described but the pictures can't do the view justice. Opening the shades every morning to an expansive view of the ocean and rolling hills was magical and just what was needed after a long year+ of mostly being in our own homes.
This is a great spot for a vacation with the extended family which is how we used it. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, linens and towels were sufficient. There was plenty of space for everyone to lounge comfortably in the living room, and for multiple people to work in the kitchen. Internet service was great. Location was perfect for a variety of day trips and the area has excellent food of all persuasions - everything from a quick bite of fresh fish and chips at a picnic table to a Michelin starred dining experience and everything in between.
We took our pup on a hike to the beach every morning - to access the trail, you need to go left up the hill to find the trail head - unless you feel comfortable crossing private property and hopping over a locked gate.
Great space. Highly recommend. Would visit again.

We had a great time staying at Point View! The views are amazing! The house is set up nicely and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The location is great and there's a beach within walking distance and we saw more starfish then I've ever seen! Our kids boogie boarded at Doran Beach (in February!) and they had a blast. It was lovely and we hope to be back!

We had a great time and Great views from the house. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with the essentials. It had a great little balcony area with a fire pit that was relaxing. If we had any issues or questions during our stay, randy knight helped and responded quickly. The beach wasn't to far away just a quick half a mile hike down the hill. The only little complaint that we had, was the some windows and sliding glass doors had no screens. We recommend this property and we will be back.

Beautiful home! Well stocked, had everything we needed. Lots of games for the family. Mr. Knight always responded to emails promtly. Even though it was foggy our family of 12 had a great time. We would definitely stay there again.

The Point View home was everything we could have hoped for. The rooms were spacious and kitchen had an open concept which worked well for our family, along with a dining room that accommodated everyone. Views were spectacular and the location was quiet. A great location for our family vacation.

Plenty of space for our large group and the extra folks we had for dinner. Lovely, large dining area table was perfect! Nice views and with a 2-car garage there was plenty of parking. The place was dated but that was nice because we didn't feel like we had to worry about kids and dogs. The bedding was nice and beds comfortable. The kitchen is large, but unorganized-- probably more by renters. But it had basically what we needed to cook our Christmas dinner. Only thing missing was bags for the kitchen trash cans which if you want people to manage their trash should be a must. We found a roll of clear bags but they were not as sturdy. The beach is not far, but not an easy walk for those for whom stairs are challenging. Nor the house for that matter as there are steps up from garage and street. Not a concern for us. Wifi and tv was awesome! Thank you for a great Christmas stay.

I hate to give it a great review because I want to make sure it is available again when we want to visit Bodega Bay, but this house was awesome! Nice enough that we enjoyed it but not so nice that we were worried about relaxing. The views are simply unbelievable. The layout of the house is perfect with space and separation between the bedrooms for privacy. Kitchen is well stocked.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay at the Point View for a personal emergency, but all my family and friends confirmed that they had a wonderful weekend at the Point View. There were some repairs that need to be made, but they did not stop us from enjoying your beautiful home. We loved being able to have an area where the five boys could play the x-Box and not disturb the rest of us.The kitchen was awesome, and we truly enjoyed every minute.You thought of everything anyone would want when taking a family vacation. The house provides a beautiful setting for taking in Bodega Bay and all it has to offer. The house is nice and roomy with beautiful views of the ocean and hillsides. We cooked our meals there and enjoyed the deck. The only thing I would suggest is putting in a sound system. There is no access to music outside the TV or a computer.
